Puzzle Smart Car Parking System / Ultrasonic Sensor Parking Guidance System
The parking guidance system directs drivers to parking areas with free parking spaces using signs and displays. This dynamic guidance is based on the current occupancy level determined using software and control logic. The parking guidance system can manage the entire car park by:
• Guiding the traffic to available spaces. • Filling up priority parking spaces under operator demand. • Blocking off certain parking areas. • Reserving individual or several parking spaces. • Monitoring time of spaces that are occupied. • Statistically analyzing the occupancy of parking areas.
2.0 SYSTEM STRUCTURE
The system composed of different layers which are connected by RS485, CAN or TCP/IP.
• Data Acquisition -- Ultrasonic Sensor • Data Transmission -- Zonal Controller collect and manage data • Information Release -- LED Display and LED Indicator • SPG Server and software, process data and release indication
3.0 OPERATION Each parking space installs an Ultrasonic Sensor which is used to detect the parking situation and send information to zone controller, once the zone controller receives information it releases different indications to different components. The system is capable of;
• Remote Desktop .Operating and monitoring from workstation • Management Systems Directly integrating prepared parking information into other management systems
4.1 SENSOR The sensor measures distance using ultrasonic waves. A controller in the sensor compares the measured distance value with a set comparison value. Objects detected between the sensor and the set comparison (reference) values are reported by the sensor as "occupied" to the in-sensor processor. The sensor contains builtin LED lamp, allows fast, accurate and stable detection of each car park lot performance.
Operational temperature : -40℃ up to 80℃.
The detection distance : less than 3.5m
•Green light Status 'unoccupied' •Red light Status 'occupied'
4.2 Zonal Controller
Each Zonal Controller can suppor 60 pieces Detector and 20 pieces Variable Message Signage
in a single / multiple zones, besides the Ultrasonic Detector and LED Display can be directly mixed connected, save cost and connection material. The input power will be 110-220VAC 50Hz frequency and the output power will be DC24V/3A.
4.3 Variable Message Sign (Indoor ) Display signs are used to show the way to free parking spaces at all turning points in the car parks. The display can be of;
• Single Direction • Double Direction • Triple Direction • Color (Red and Green)
4.4 Main Display Panel ( Outdoor ) Main display guidance panel is usually placed at the entrance of each parking floor which shows the actual amount of parking spaces available on each level.
4.5 Main Controller / Smart Parking Guidance Server SPG Server is the hub of Smart Packing Guidance System which is responsible for data transmission and control of the entire system. It can individually Operate System and save data without computer.
